Terms of Use

Accounts must be created and managed by an adult (18 or over) who is the parent or legal guardian of the children added to the account, or who has that guardian's permission. Children use the app through a profile the adult sets up — they don't create accounts themselves.

SoundSprout is an educational home-practice product. It provides guided, repeated speech-sound practice with audio modeling and encouragement.

It is not a medical or clinical service. It does not assess, diagnose or treat speech, language or hearing conditions, it does not evaluate whether a word was pronounced correctly, and it does not replace a licensed speech-language pathologist. If you have concerns about your child's speech, please consult a qualified professional.

Keep your sign-in details private. You're responsible for activity on your account, including profiles you create for your children. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account.

• • Use SoundSprout for your own family's practice.
• • Don't attempt to access other accounts or our systems.
• • Don't copy, resell or redistribute the content, artwork or audio.
• • Don't use automated tools to scrape or overload the service.

SoundSprout is free during early access. We may introduce paid plans later; we'll give existing account holders notice before any charge applies. The service is provided as-is and may change, pause or be unavailable at times while we improve it.

You can delete your account at any time from the Parent area, which removes child profiles and practice history. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SoundSprout is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

If we make meaningful changes we will update the effective date below and, for material changes, let account holders know inside the app or by email.

These terms are effective as of September 6, 2026.
