Who it's for

SoundSprout for educators and tutors

Teachers and tutors are often the first to notice a sound a child is working on. Here's how SoundSprout can fit.

A simple suggestion for families

Five minutes a day at home, one sound, with the app modeling each word. Families choose the sound and can use it for up to five children.

Especially useful for

  • Children learning English who are working on new sounds
  • Families wanting a positive routine while awaiting evaluation
  • Students already receiving speech services who need extra home practice

When to refer

If a child's speech affects how well they're understood, their participation or their confidence, talk with your school's speech-language pathologist about next steps.

Current scope

SoundSprout is designed for family use at home today. Classroom accounts aren't available yet — contact us if that interests you.

Try five minutes tonight

SoundSprout is guided daily practice for one speech sound: ten words, about five minutes, with a warm voice modeling every word. Up to five children per account.

SoundSprout supports home practice. It does not diagnose, evaluate or replace a licensed speech-language pathologist.
